About Us
Our story
Thirty years of building, supplying quality kitsets nationwide
Coast to Coast Homes specialise in quality kitset homes which if required can be customised to your needs, delivered ready to live in anywhere across New Zealand. We originally started as a family building company with now over 30 years of experience. Coast to Coast Homes has been offering quality customisable Kitset builds since 2005. We also operate our sister company, Homes To You, who build and supply transportables nationwide.
A design for every need
Our range spans three collections to suit almost any brief: Versatile Granny Flats and minor dwellings up to 70m², Larger Homes over 70m² for growing families and Holiday Homes. With one through to four-bedroom layouts across more than forty designs, there's a plan to fit your section, your budget and your lifestyle. If you still cannot find the design you want, we offer a full custom designer where your vision and our expert designers come together to design the home of your dreams.
Make it yours
Every plan is a starting point, not a fixed template. Our in-house design team works with you to customise layouts, finishes and fittings, and our easy online configurator lets you explore and select many options yourself before you even talk to us. Whether it's a small tweak or a full reconfiguration, we'll help you shape a home that's genuinely yours.
Quality materials, trusted names
We supply with high-quality, household-name materials and fittings, so you get a home that performs and looks the part for years to come - not a stripped-back budget build.
We handle the paperwork too
Consenting can be the most daunting part of building - so we manage it for you. Our team takes care of building consent and, where required, land use consent, coordinating the process from design through to sign-off. Coast to Coast Homes offers a professional, personalised service: from plan selection, through building consent to providing your builder with your chosen materials for your build.
Why choose a kitset home?
A kitset home from Coast to Coast Homes combines the certainty of a professionally designed home, quality NZ standard materials, delivered to site to suit your project timeline while also being an extremely cost effective option. We also offer the ability to customise your kitset, so you are not just choosing a fixed product, you will have the opportunity to make your kitset home exactly how you want it. Your kitset can be delivered wherever you need it in New Zealand including our inner islands perfect for a holiday retreat, a granny flat, a first home, or a permanent family residence. That's the Coast to Coast Homes difference.
